For lunch and dinner you can choose from either the à la carte 2 course $79, 3 course $94, or our set 5 course $135 or 7 course $165 set degustation tasting menus.

We also offer a kid’s menu $40

For large tables of 7+ adults we offer our 3 course à la carte menu or the 5 or 7 course set menus

The Lawn Bar serves a lighter casual style small bites menu

Saturday’s deluxe high tea $90 served in the Dining Room.

Restaurant dining offers the choice of either the elegant dining room, under patterned pressed metal ceilings, chandeliers and palm fans; or out on the undercover river verandah, with it’s panoramic river and hinterland views. For a sophisticated experience savour the elegance of the Chandelier private dining room.

Lawn Bar ~ open on weekends - located on the riverside lawn, the casual lawn bar offers share plates & drinks. it has an undercover area & awning with direct views of the river and hinterland. you can reserve a table or walk-ins welcome subject to availability.

Palm lounge~ located inside, the intimate lounge offers bahamas lounge chairs for you to relax & enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres, or dessert & coffee. walk-ins welcome no reservations required but subject to availability.

Climate ~ in warmer months stay cool under ceiling palm fans as well as air misting systems on the verandah and air conditioning in the dining room

During the cooler winter months we have heating on the river verandah during lunch, but winter dinner bookings are only in the dining room with the fire place

if you feel the cold in winter, or the heat in summer, we recommend you reserve your table in the dining room which has reverse cycle air conditioning temperature control

Whilst the Tweed River House has no accommodation, there are quite a few options in the nearby town of Murwillumbah and hinterland.

The restaurant is located up one flight of stairs and we we have access via a stair lift, however, the wheelchair must be carried up and we can assist if not too heavy.

The Lawn Bar is located on ground level

Wheelchair accessible toilet is located on the ground near the stair lift

Yes we have onsite parking or there is street side parking outside the restaurant.

We are located in a residential area and we ask you respect our neighbours and ensure all driveways are left clear and noise is kept to a minimum.

For the restaurant we only allow service dogs with validated certification, that must be shown on arrival. Please advise us at time of booking you have a service dog.

We only allow dogs in the riverside Lawn Bar, as long as this is noted at time of booking. The dog must remain seated with you and on a lead at all times.

No we do not permit outside food or cakes, as we have a full range of desserts to choose from

For requested birthdays we place a candle in the chosen dessert
